2.9 Using a Band to Estimate Level: Too Low

Let’s talk a little more about using this band to estimate the level before you practice. Here is a data path. If we put the level band here, it’s covering about 6 data points. But what about those 4 higher data points? Those influence the level of the data path, as well. Remember, we want the band to cover most of the data points, but we also need to adjust it, so that about half of the outlying data points are above it and half of the  outlying data points are below it.
