14.2 Arbitrarily Applicable Definition and Example

Since relational frames are types of relational responding that can be applied to stimuli even if the physical properties of the stimuli don’t support the relation, we say that they are arbitrarily applicable. You arbitrarily applied a relational response to these triangles. Your response depended on contextual cues rather than the physical properties of the triangles.
