What happens when someone’s arbitrary relations do not fit social constructs that have been put in place? Like money, the dime being worth more than the nickel but children still favor the nickel because it’s bigger. Do we teach the kid they are right in one construct but wrong in the other? This is just a simple example. But the world is complex and this could be applied for a lot of things.
