We have updated how our country-based pricing works, making it fairer and available to a lot more customers.

What’s changing: Our discounts are now based on the World Bank’s official country income classification instead of a hand-picked list of countries. This gives us a consistent, well-documented standard instead of a patchwork of one-off decisions — and it’s reviewed and updated by the World Bank every year.

What it means for you: Pricing now adjusts automatically based on your country’s income level:

• High-income countries: full price
• Upper-middle-income countries: 45% off
• Lower-middle-income countries: 60% off
• Low-income countries: 65% off

Broader coverage: Over 125 countries are now included, up from a much shorter list before. Many customers in countries that previously received no discount at all will now see one that better reflects their local purchasing power.

Your discount is applied automatically in your cart and at checkout based on the billing country you enter — no code needed.

We have made the difficult decision to discontinue free access to our learning modules and other Open Educational Resources (OER). Our modules will remain available for purchase individually, as part of a coursepack, or as part of a group license.

Our license to publish and sell access to videos from the Michigan Autism Conference (MAC) is set to expire soon and will not be renewed. As a result, we will cease selling access to MAC videos starting June 1, 2025. MAC videos cannot be added to any new coursepacks, but users who purchase a MAC video (either individually or as part of a coursepack) before June 1, 2025 will be able to access the videos from their myLearning dashboard as usual for two years after their date of purchase.

We used to offer a simple notes tool that could be used during modules to record personal notes. Unfortunately, the software we used for that tool proved increasingly unreliable and was causing problems on our site. There are also many third-party note-taking tools and browser extensions available now that are much more sophisticated and useful than our simple tool. Thus, we decided to retire our notes tool.

If you’re looking for a new way to take notes on our website (or any website!), some good options include Zoho Notebook (free), Google Keep (also free), Evernote (both free and paid plans), and Microsoft OneNote (included if you use Microsoft 365). LifeWire has a nice overview of note-taking apps, too.

To make our modules more affordable throughout the world, we have implemented country-based pricing for all of our products. Discounts will be automatically applied for users who live in countries with an income per capita that is less than 75% of the United States, with greater discounts applied for greater disparities. The discount will be applied automatically at checkout based on your billing address.

With our site’s relaunch, we have replaced the cumbersome “course connection” process with the simpler concept of coursepacks. Now to use one or more of our modules as a course supplement, you just follow these simple steps:

1. Complete a simple form telling us which of our modules you’d like to use for your course. We’ll create a digital “coursepack” for you and send you a unique link to give to your students.
2. Refer your students to your coursepack link. When they purchase the coursepack, they gain immediate access to the included modules and are automatically added to a private group associated with your course.
3. Track the progress and performance of any students who purchased your coursepack from the myTeaching dashboard.
