Behavioral interventions stemming from a FBA are more effective than those not function-related, with the quality of FBAs positively correlating with student outcomes. Trial-based functional analysis (TBFA) can efficiently confirm FBA results, enhancing the effectiveness of function-based interventions, and training school personnel and ABA providers in systematic TBFA can enhance school capacity to assess challenging behaviors.
