Frequently Asked Questions - Questions by/for Instructors

Students will notice a field called “Overall Practice Question Accuracy” in their tutorial results table on the myLearning page, and instructors will see this field in their course results table on the myTeaching page. This field presents the user’s overall accuracy on their first answers on the multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank practice questions presented during the tutorial’s lessons. Note that it includes only the user’s first attempt at the practice question, and does not include any additional attempts at the question the user may have made. This score is completely separate from the quiz scores presented in the results table.

It’s easy to use FoxyLearning as a supplement to your course or training program! Just follow these steps:

  1. Create an account on FoxyLearning.com (it’s free to create an account).
  2. List your course for free on FoxyLearning: go to the myTeaching section, click on the “Add a New Course” button, and enter your course information.
  3. Refer your students to FoxyLearning.com, letting them know they’ll need to create an account, purchase a subscription (either annual or lifetime is fine for courses) to the specified tutorial, and then “connect” to your course. They can “connect” by going to the myLearning section and clicking on the “Connect a Course” button below the tutorial of interest.
  4. Once students are connected, you’ll be able to log in and see their progress and performance on the tutorial in the myTeaching section.

When a student uses FoxyLearning’s “Connect a Course” feature to connect their performance and progress data to your course, you will see the following information for that student on your myTeaching page:

  • Whether or not the student has completed the tutorial
  • The last lesson the student completed
  • The student’s overall practice question accuracy
  • The student’s first quiz score
  • The student’s highest quiz score
  • The total number of quiz attempts by the student
  • The date and time the student last accessed the learning program

A sample course results table is shown below. You should make it clear to your students how or if you will use this information in your course or training (e.g., will points be awarded based on one or more of these factors?).
